to show that people are the real problem, the "bad dog" has changed..through out time and media. First is known of the blood hound wich grew such a rap, equel to pit bulls. the cuban bloodhound bred to track down slaves and indians, the siberian bloodhound,simular to the harliquen greatdane, and english or true bloodhound wich we know today. Often all three known simply as bloodhounds. By commercalism and of vicious bloodhounds in uncletoms cabin and such, people where attracted to the powerfull mastiff type breed, wich where often treated badly and urged to be aggresive. starting many fatal attacks. Newfoundlands where second known in fatalities,and often treated the same..but people got bored,and those fatal attacks went away..people moved on to the german shepherd dog,also known as german wolf dog..but press released them from thought for the positive images on tv such as Rintintin and the use for them as army and police dogs. the doberman was next..beforehand used as a loyal military dog.(a good rap) .they were seen as a loyal or vicious nazi war dog(the enemy). Their rap grew horrable, and reports of dobe attacks where popular,even if few..and strange horrable myths arrised,that people still belive. pitbulls had a moment of bad rap but rotties out grew that. but the pit bulls rap came back,worse then ever. with peoples interest in the forbiddon bloody dog fights and new horrable myths sorounded the once respected,loved pitbull terrier.. a nonfatal attack by pitbull was much more popular then a fatal attack by a huskydog!..feeding of peoples fears(like so much thesedays) the goverment brought up breedbans..a placebo for peoples paronoia, not related the real problem..people..
i just wonder what breed is next!..there will allways be guard dogs, fighting dogs and whatever dogs to be on the list..in Iowa its illigal to have a dog over 100 ibs even.look at the list of banned breeds..you`ll be amazed. even pugs,labs,samoyeds, newfies, and golden retreivers plus 70 others are banned! do something before ur dog is banned in ur town, vote no!..and i recomend the book the pitbull placebo,and looking up bsl, i wrote this for contest
